Warm and inviting location. Either sit in front of the fireplace or tucked off into a table by yourself or with your guest. Beans are roasted weekly in house! Drinks are done with a semi-automatic machine. So the barista has more control and can custom make drinks more towards individual preference. Beautiful outdoor decorations that enhances the community appeal.

Love this place, great coffee and good customer service. Peter is always friendly and talkative, he frequently introduces his customers and starts conversations. More than that, the food and coffee are great! Love the potato leek soup!

Loved this coffee shop! Its warm and inviting, have lots of space...easy to get a spot to study for a while. Its not loud like a lot of coffee shops are. The drinks were good...food was good, good selections for a coffee shop. The mismatch furniture is cute, place is clean....including the bathrooms. Highly recommend.

Four stars only because everytime I've had coffee here, despite trying different kinds and blends, it all tastes burnt or over roasted? Maybe just personal preference. Willing to give it another shot, but this place has amazing crafted drinks with dairy free options. And the scones are AMAZING! The espresso scone, and the raspberry with real berries might be the best scones in the Twin Cities. Fun live music and happenings that pop up in the Cafe as well. Love the atmosphere.

Nice place, friendly staff. Coffee? Always been bitter and burnt. Foodstuffs are good. I like the place but ...I have yet to get a good cup of Joe.

On my journey to getting an espresso at as many coffee shops as I can, I stumbled upon Black Sheep Coffee. The employees were friendly, quick, and the coffee was delicious. The atmosphere created was calming and provided relief from my busy day. Will definitely be returning.

I had the Painter's Mocha. It was amazing. My kids love the hot cocoa and the area by the fireplace set aside for kids to play with toys. Their blueberry scone with fresh cream was so good we all ended up fighting over it. Haha. I loved the lemon bar. This will for sure be my go-to coffee shop.
