Basil Leaf Vietnamese Restaurant

I was excited to try this restaurant since many positive reviews praised the food. Well, I did not get that opportunity. I walked in after lunch hour on 2/20/20 and found the place relatively busy. Two individuals, a young man and an older woman, were at the counter busy adding up the tickets. Neither of the had the courtesy to even lift their eyes to greet me or tell me that they would be right with me. I stood within three feet of them for at least two minutes. How rude! I walked out and went to another Vietnamese restaurant nearby. The Huong Thao restaurant earned my 5 stars that day for excellent food and service.

So delicious, one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in ABQ. Parking lot is small, service is fast and friendly. They serve beer and wine. They offer food to go. The small size soup is small enough to enjoy another item on the menu, the medium is huge the large is gigantic. I love this place! I wish their sandwiches were easier to eat and included everything inside instead of the veggies on the side but that’s just a personal preference.

What a nice space to relax and enjoy some really good pho. I got the large to take home with me later! Their dark setting set the mood for a calm relaxing environment. Beautiful pictures and decor surround you. I also didn’t wait forever for my food. The only problem I had was I waiting a little longer than I like to order my food from the server when they noticed my table was ready.

I love the Pho. Ate lunch here on Saturday with a friend and we shared a large rare steak bowl. It was delicious. The broth was very tasty. Reasonably priced for the portion size. Glad they remodeled to expand.

This is an amazing Vietnamese restaurant, and it shows by how packed it always is. There's parking around the side and back if you can't find any up front. Everything is delicious and freshly made. I really enjoyed my combination noodles and mango sticky rice, so yummy

The staff was very attentive and engaging. The food was delicious and it was served quickly. Like Governor Schwarzenegger once said " I'll be back"... 😁

First time going here. The food was absolutely delicious. The prices were reasonable and our service was very good. Will definately go back. I don't remember exactly what I ordered, but I really liked it.

I HIGHLY recommend this place! The food is AMAZING. The pho was INCREDIBLE!! I love pho and this is literally the best pho I've ever had. My husband had the Teriyaki chicken skewers and they were delicious and flame grilled. the zucchini was falling off the stick and slight pressure and the chicken was falling off too. It was so good. My daughter got chicken and rice off the kids menu, she really liked it. Service was great and the employees are very nice. Prices are very good. Again I highly recommend this place!!!

Great experience. First time eating Pho soup. YUMMY!! And Spring rolls mouth watering 🤤🤤

Everything I've tried was great. Great atmosphere, even if you're alone.
