Azabu Restaurant

I was a bit skeptical of eating here based on reviews I see at another review site. We did not have to wait long to be seated. The place was almost full. I have to say that I like the sushi rolls. They do taste good overall, but what I don’t like is that the sushi would break apart easily. At one point while I was grabbing a roll, the shrimp fell off and landed on my shirt versus going into my mouth. The other thing, the sushi chefs were fast making their rolls, but the wait staff service was slow overall. Even on two occasions each sushi chef had to wait or call on the wait staff to do something like serve food they made or pick up a check. Chances are slim if I want to eat here again.

Jack is awesome...the owner always takes the time to say hello and ask about our meal. The food is super delicious...from the Lupe Roll to the albacore sashimi not to mention their hand rolls! Hands down one of the best sushi places with affordable prices :)

I've always liked going here. I went to a sushi chain a couple days before, not my choice, and this last visit to Azabu reminded me that there are decent sushi places still around. This place is small, has the typical Americano sushi roll menu and small sushi paper menu, and the only large picture menus are for special items. Nice staff, and good service, decent sushi, decent alcohol selection. I like it

Excellent sushi. I stick with it and don't go around trying other places because I think this has been better than those I've tried. It will be very /extremely busy on weekend nights, so you might want to make a plan B. The restaurant is small but clean and not stale at all. The owner is actually from Japan and the nicest guy!! Very friendly environment and a great place to drink or meet people!!
