To be honest, I was expecting more of the service and the food I had last night because this restaurant is one of the "top-rated” ”modern French” dining places on Google maps. The starter I had was pan seared scallops, it tasted fine, but actually I expected a little bit larger size rather than 4 pieces toonie sized scallops with $30. The main course braised lamb was just a disappointment. 4 pieces salty lamb with big bones, the actual protein less than 20%, the risotto was bland and the red wine sauce tasted nothing but salty. We were just too disappointed to order dessert and left.

You want that wow Instagram post?! Well I got just the place for you. The BEST lake view in Whistler possibly even British Columbia right at your finger tips. Open kitchen with a bar seat, watch the magic happen. Food, top notch! Drinks? Forget about it, absolutely stunning cocktail menu. But be quick! The menu and cocktails are seasonal! Everything changes in the fall so snatch it up quick before you miss out.

Came before closing on meatless Monday. Wife ordered the there course meatless Monday special and I ordered the short rib. All the food was really good and service was quick. Definitely no issues with dinner like some of the other reviews for breakfast rush. Would definitely come back and try something else off the menu.

Amazing! The staff were all friendly, attentive and professional. We asked for some recommendations from out waiter (I feel awful I can't remember his name right now, but he was great) and every thing we ordered was even better than we anticipated - hats off to the chef! We got a full three course meal and were absolutely stuffed by the time dessert was finished, but it was worth it. I'm looking forward to going back again and will be highly recommending Aura to others. One of my new favourites in town. My only regret is that I hadn't gone their sooner!
