Algarve Restaurant

Great staff , good eats. I think I tried most of the menu but some of favs are the pork ribs, sauteed potatoes , sauteed garlic veggies. I am all about cheap good eats and this is def one, if your doing take out. The restaurant side of this location is very nice as well.... They give you very big portions for what you pay for.

Okay, I haven't been in a few months, but this has got to be the best Portuguese restaurant in our area. In spite of the wait, which can sometimes be long, its worth it. The chicken is really good, along with the rice; I don't care so much for the fries, but they are okay. This, mind you, is only in the "take-out" area of the restaurant. Now, if you have a chance to sit down in the restaurant, and you have called in your reservation early, which you should always do here, because it gets crowded, you will not regret it. The food, and I'm not saying the take-out is not as up to par as sitting down in the restaurant; but, if you can sit down to eat, the food is amazing, the service respectful and accommodating, and the drinks a delight. Our family has been going to this restaurant for the past 25 years or so, and we have never been disappointed with the food or service.

Food is good their grilled Salmon is unbelievably delicious As Well as their sauteed broccoli rabb. The only issue I have they should make a better effort to keep the chicken and fish away from their pork Items. Use cutting board for chicken only As Well as knifes for chicken only. Elizabeth and the Greater Newark area have a very diverse community with people who don't eat pork for religious and non religious reasons but are looking for balanced dinner with different dietary options.

Excellent food , excellent service , reasonable price for the meal , great place for lunch or dinner , NEVER had a bad meal here , anytime in the area will stop in for lunch or dinner given the time , this is the best .

Their food is really good, one of the best things is the value and quality of their to go menu.

Location has parking, take out food and sangria, the food is pretty good and nice ambiance. Customer service is really good 5 stars. You are also able to use the AMI app and select your favorite hits.. bathroom cleaniness ratings 2 stars
