Al Bawadi Restaurant

They got great food!!! It’s pretty much a very authentic Middle Eastern restaurant!! There deserts are very tasty and fresh. Highly recommended!! They have the family combination plate (see picture below) that got different types of meat, as well as a couple of sides. The plate is enough for 4 - 7 people

They have really good food and their Oozi is delicious! The meat is always so tender and falls right off the bone. I love the rice so much that sometimes I start craving it. 😋They do need more seating arrangements though because every time I come on the weekends there is always a long waiting line and it takes a while to get a seat. We had to leave a few times because of how long it would take before getting a seat~

What an amazing place! Fun atmosphere with incredible food to match. Make sure you go hungry because the portions are large and very filling. Definitely the best middle eastern food we’ve had in the area. Great food, great service, great restaurant!

Al Bawadi has fresh and delicious food. I love the atmosphere. The service is extremely friendly and efficient. The food is also amazing.I love the kabobs, the rice, the kafka, and especially their hummus! I love everything I've eaten there, I just don't remember the names of all of the dishes.If you plan to go, be prepared to wait. I'm not the only person who love this place!

The first time my family and I went to Al Bawadi everything was amazing from the food, to the service! Mind you we were the only people there. Every time we’ve gone after that the food isn’t as near what it was the first time, the service had gone down from then. Lovely atmosphere I’ll give them that! But I feel the owners need to keep quality in mind. One dish I recommend NOT getting is LARGE PLATTER OF MIXED SEAFOOD (SERVES 5 PEOPLE) Disgusting. $130.00 for food that tastes as bad as it smells. Horrible. I’ll give this place ONE MORE TRY hopefully this time the food and service will be up to par.

Loved the fresh drinks. Beautifully restaurant. Recommend the apple juice if you can drink fresh apple juice. You get plenty of food too. i I had salmon. Yum

One of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in the area!! Actually 1 of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to period!! Their food is consistently wonderful & the place is beautifully decorated with high quality bathrooms and décor that makes you think you're in another world complete with palm trees inside!! The deserts and mint lemonade slushy is out of this world!!!!

My work family of 9 came for dinner and it was one phenomenal night. From the warm welcome to The exceptional service, food was beyond expectations. Essa hosted us, what a guy. He made sure we all are well served. Very polite and keeping a detailed eye of our needs during our time there. Will be coming back here again.

Delicious Middle Eastern food. Great atmosphere & amazing service. It’s one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in Illinois. I highly recommend the combination platter & shrimp scampi. Say yes to the complimentary Turkish coffee the man walks around with table to table. You won’t be disappointed with Al Bawadi Grill. Also, it is very inexpensive for the portion of food you get. 💗
