219 Restaurant

Friendly staff with decent quality food. Service is a bit slow, but kind. Menu prices do not match up with the online google menu prices ($7.75 sandwiches shown online are actually $8.79). This is a small town, local feeling, unique experience.

The food is great. The lunch special with a sweet tea and tip 14-15 bucks. I eat there often.

Delicious panini served quickly with a smile! I also got a complimentary and quite unexpected cookie (chocolate chip). Try the muffaleta--it was really tasty!The artwork and ambiance at this corner restaurant was really cool, too.

This place is great and I love the staff. They are just so nice. Great on food. Some of the specials are down right amazing.

Overheard some folks talking about Club 219 for lunch in downtown Mobile. Found a simple sidewalk cafe with 219 emblazoned on a weathered whitewash corner building and strolled in. 219 is a local tavern/grill/deli across from the opulent Saenger Theater. Homey, comfortable feel and the selection of sandwiches is not only endless but the ingredients jump off the menu onto the palate in your minds eye. Owner Tom Henson has perfected his Deli skills on-site for 17 years and in that old southern style of graciousness he loves to sit and visit and share stories of music and the celebs who have dined there.

Wonderful place to get lunch! I got an array of sandwiches and salads for a lunch meeting and my clients loved it! Only reason I took off a star is because I also ordered cookies (I mentioned to make sure they were included in the order when I got there to pick it up) ... and the cookies weren’t in there! :( Other than that great food and fast, friendly service!

Let me just say, my coworker recommended this place to me today because they had just opened again, and thank god because it is amazing!!!! I got the muffuletta with potato salad and it was all delicious. The pickle was the best touch (I adore pickles) and the cookie was the cherry on top! I’m not usually a fan of potato salad but the stuff here was absolutely life changing. Don’t hesitate to eat here!

Wondeful. Really delicious. Quick service. I got a chicken gyro. Very good. That sauce is awesome.

In between business commitment with a very short amount of time, we found 219 for lunch. We had to order to go given only 30 minutes available, but I really wish we had more time as the 219 has a great courtyard area towards the back of the restaurant. The food was exceptional, service was great and efficient and most important very friendly!

Food is great. Go early during a symphony evening or make reservations. It gets busy which slows the service some, but they still did a great job getting us out.
