“I'd give it 7 stars – Alice makes the BEST chocolate shake. It's in another league. Flavor separation: just the right amount of Hershey's syrup; not too sweet but with lots of depth. Perfect thickness. Drinkable, but really thick and satisfying. **Cold** – really cold. Every sip was such a treat. Thanks Alice!”

“Our first trip to San Fran, and after visiting Alcatraz, we were on our way back to our hotel. We stopped in to get a burger and beer. One of the best burgers and fries we've had while watching the 49's beat Green Bay. This is saying something being we're from the mid-west and being in the cattle business!! The locals were talkative and kind while cheering for their team, while we were looking forward to seeing them take on the Chiefs. One of the highlights of our visit.”

“The cookies and ice-cream are sooooo good! My husband and I ate our customized icecream sandwiches and wanted to go back for seconds. I appreciate they were served in a bowl with a spoon too, since they can get messy. The atmosphere by the pier with the other food trucks is also so fun. Perfect place for dessert!”

“Came in on a Sunday morning before 11am and the tables were near full. We only waited a few minutes before being seated. The weather was beautiful and we were seated in the second row closest to the window. We order OJ. Seemed like it was freshly squeezed. A little tart and full of pulp. ($3 per glass)For breakfast, we ordered: steak (medium) and eggs (scrambled) which came with toast and hash, Denver omelet also with toast and hash, and a presidential breakfast. Presidential breakfast included 3 pancakes, eggs, hash, choice of toast or English muffin, and a choice of protein: ham, sausage, bacon. The bacon was just as I liked, crispy and not greasy. I asked for soft scramble but it was overcooked. The steak was cooked will done even though we asked for medium, it was tasty. Classic Denver omelet. Cheesy and the filling was plentiful. Everything was delicious. Each dish is an average of $17. Atmosphere is nice, it's quiet.”

“We really enjoyed our first visit here and look forward to returning to also visit the jazz club downstairs. looks like you have to come early to get a seat at the club. Drinks and dinner were so well done and the service made us feel very welcome. The corn soup was especially delicious. I loved it so much I tried to order the same thing somewhere else the next day to repeat the experience. No comparison, Doc Rickett's version won hands down. ”

“Very nice place from my experience. The chicken liver sandwich was great and the blintzes are huge, so don't get fooled :) In other places the blintzes are normally a couple of small pieces, here it is one big one. One is enough for two people. That is what we had and they were incredible.Everything looked very good I wish I could eat more but all I could eat was a bit of chicken matzo ball soup, half a chicken liver sandwich and half a blintz and I was super satisfied! Probably because it is very good food.”
