“We ordered 3 appetizers and they arrived within minutes. The place was very clean and the service was very nice. Honestly I do not know much about authentic ramen but I liked what I ordered. As did my hubby. He ordered mild and it had a kick I ordered non spicy but it was curry so there was a bit of spice. The portions were plenty and the prices were right. I will definitely be back!”

“Great place for a weekday lunch in the financial district with lots of variety from which to choose in a buffet-style setting. The three item combo is the best deal although I found the two item combo was a ton of food as they give generous portions. I ordered the ginger chicken and eggplant  (two separate items) with vegetables and rice (comes with the combo) and it was all very enjoyable. What was really memorable was how upbeat and friendly the staff was, it really added to the pleasurable experience. Also, the decor is quite beautiful with lots of blue and they even have a pretty nice (full) bar and happy hour specials. As with many places in the financial district, try and get there before noon as that's when the line gets long and more so, all the good seating gets taken up.”

“Large variety of Asian pastries such as egg tarts, cakes, breads, and much more. Among the exotic choices are pastries filled with velvety smooth sweet bean paste, lotus, and melon. Absolutely delicious but an acquired taste for sure. For now you can get savory plates to go such as Loco Moco, spam musubi, chicken or pork katsu and other Hawaiian specialties. The prices are quite reasonable for all these tasty fare but for takeout only at this time.”

“Absolutely delicious & open late! Order at the counter and find a spot. Love their stone pots. Very fresh flavors! The place is a little small, so I can imagine that it could get very crowded. The service was very friendly. So excited this place is here!”

“I always love genki crepe's crepe. I want none of that sogginess from japantown crepes... The flavors/variety here are good and the quality is generous! What more can you ask for? The only thing that gets me scrambling is if I am getting a crepe for myself, you need to have cash. (Credit card min at $10)”

“Shockingly delicious. I’ve been to other yakitori places in SF and Kyoto in Japan and this is the best. I can’t believe it. I was hopeful, but this place exceeds expectations. I’d recommend the beef belly for sure. The bacon wrapped tomatoes are also killer. Round it out with some mushrooms and the chicken as well as a nice sake. You will love it!Oh ya, the line can be quite long so put in your name and phone number and go across the street to Richmond Republic for a pint while you wait for a text that your table is ready.”

“We went to this place by the reviews we read online but it was absolutely not worth it. The mango stivky rice toast that we ordered to go has mold on the ends. We ended up eat half of it until we reached the side that was affected. I would definitely not visit this place and would recommend people to watch out while they eat here.”
