“We come here all the time and love your Gelato. Due to traffic issues we we arrived at the door at 8:01. Your hours changed it used to be 10pm. We got in the parking lot around 7:55 but having a 5 month old it took us a few minutes to get out of the car. The child working behind the counter proceeded to yell at us stating you were closed and we needed masks to even come in anyway and told us to leave. Meanwhile there were 5 customers in front of us waiting to be served. My wife has a skin condition and has tried to wear masks several times but her skin breaks out and I have asthma we don't carry masks around to enter places who belittle you for not having one. Sometimes I have one laying around I can put on for places such as your location that are more fearful and uncomfortable if anyone isnt wearing one. Obviously we aren't so rude as to blindly enter a place that requires one and spread anything I hope management will take him aside and talk to him about some manners.”

“This place is great with delicious meals. The environment is relaxing with vintage decor and dim lighting. This is a great location for a family celebration. The choices will please everyone in your group. 3 course meals: soup, salad, main dish, and spumoni for dessert. Each of our meals were amazing. A great summer time treat.”

“Food and service was great. We ordered the pasta mixed plate and the carbonara. The bread and balsamic vinegar tasted very good. My wife enjoyed the shrimp that was on the pasta mixed plate she ordered. The gnocchi, tortellini, and ravioli all had good flavors and the sauces were tasty as well. I ordered the carbonara and it was good, the chicken that I added had a lot of flavor.”

“Great place! Food is super good, with a nice variety and some pretty niche options. Service is always extremely fast, sometimes the sandwich is ready before I'm done paying. Employees Josh and Hubie are incredible, super friendly and good at what they do. Going here is sometimes the highlight of my week”

“I made a reservation to celebrate our anniversary and dine at this restaurant. They called me the day before the reservation to confirm the reservation and require a credit card over the phone. I told them I would 100% be there but I did not feel comfortable reading my card over the phone because a small restaurant doesn’t have any iT security measures in place to protect my information. They told me to just walk in without a reservation and they would speak with the owner on my behalf. After I hung up, I got an email stating that my reservation was canceled. We walked in at the exact time that I had a reservation from the evening prior and they told us that they didn’t have any tables. I spoke with the owner to tell him my story and see if he could accommodate us and explained that they can’t expect their customer to read credit card numbers over the phone to hostesses who write it down on a napkin and it was unreasonable for the customer to assume that risk. He was unwilling to make any accommodations for us and we left. No apology or attempt to earn our business. Very disappointed and embarrassed. If you don’t care if people want your business or about your financial security, then try the pasta but if you do care, then avoid this place.”

“Hate leaving a bad review for a restaurant during the pandemic and when there are many others talking good things. But I had to, because this was one of the worst Italian places I have been to. The food was terrible. I felt the ambience was passable at best. First, the bread was dry as a bone. We ordered an appetizer that was average at best (and I'm being generous). We (two people) then ordered two dishes, Fettuccine Alfredo and Pesto Tortellini, and they were drowning in sauces. Gross! I managed to eat half the plate but could not anymore. You know it's bad when your partner is making faces while you're taking bites. Worst thing? The prices. They do no justice whatsoever. The waiter/host was nice, though.”

“By far one of the best hidden gems for Italian food. We have been there multiple times and have wonderful service and fresh food every time. They use fresh vegetables and cook them to perfection. We have strong Italian roots and my wife jars tomatoes every year just for her sauces. Makes it hard for me to go somewhere because I can taste the metal of the cans. Well the great news is I have never tasted it here. The atmosphere inside is very appealing and a get away. The crazy thing is the outside of the building is like nothing. So do not judge it for the outside. Like I said its a hidden gem.”

“We were on a business trip & wanted a nice sit down dinner (especially with a lot of places not offering sit down right now due to COVID). This place was HANDS DOWN the BEST place I have ever had dinner. I got the chicken Marsala & it was soooo delicious! Plate sizes are large enough to take home. The service from our waiter Paul was EXCEPTIONAL. He was very kind & patient when we asked about all the different meals on the menu. It was a very inviting place in a really beautiful building! Making a reservation was SUPER easy as well! Will most definitely be returning whenever we are in SLC!”
