“The exterior of Lago’s Lone Oak is the picture of roadside ice cream stands with long outdoor counters and multiple windows for serving the queued-up masses. Lone Oak also serves a full drive-in menu of hamburgers, great hot dogs, and locally-made draft sodas (from Captain Eli’s of Portland, Maine). Hot dog connoisseurs will appreciate how the cooks place a bed of chopped purple onions in the bun underneath the hot dog for a crunchy surprise.”

“Very good! Food tastes like real food, iced chai latte was tasty. It's warm out in the sun and the chairs hurt my bum, but in the 'before', indoor looks comfy and cute.”

“Recent purchases:- oysters- blue fin- salmon- cocktail shrimp- beer The staff here are awesome, very knowledgeable and have great attitude/passion for the food. Owners and mgmt do a great job with purchasing and training. Very friendly to customers and a great, ever changing selection of fresh seafood. Also, nice selection of local vegetables and retail products. We go here all the time”
“Great food, great prices, fast and friendly service! Masks required! No mask, no service, no exceptions. These folks are super busy, and their parking lot is jam packed! Lots of indoor seating, great views of tidal grass flats from upstairs deck, and ample outdoor picnic tables along the side of the restaurant by the tidal stream. Quaint, great quality, huge portions and very good informal family dining experience.”

“Visited first time after many times telling myself I was going to go visit. :-)\n\nA friend of mine and I went there on a Saturday evening. We had called around to several of the restaurants to see how busy they were and we were looking at easily 1 hour plus wait times.\n\nFrom the time I called to the time we were seated was about 15 minutes at the most. the place was loaded with people but we were fortunate to get a seat\n\nI had the bowl of the seafood chowder which was absolutely delicious. A nice mixture of seafood chunks of lobster shrimp and fish.\n\nThat was followed by the shrimp scampi with a nice mixture of oil and butter and five shrimp.\n\nMy friend had the bourbon salmon which was exquisite!\n\nWe'll definitely be back.. again and again!”

“The NE and House chowder were good! The scallops were my favorite and the coconut shrimp with the marmalade sauce was an interesting combination but tasty. I'd recommend and would visit again!”
