“Love this bar. Excellent buy one get one happy hour! I wasn’t able to split one happy hour order between two people. But I suppose 4 drinks is better than 2 anyway!”

“It's been a little while since I've been to PHD but here's a recap of past experiences:\n\nLast summer I got to PHD Terrace twice, and the two experiences were different at face value but similar in overall takeaways.\n\nThe first time It was a hot weeknight, and I spent my time outside by the bar. The place was mobbed and it was difficult to get a drink. Drinks were good. Bartenders weren't super friendly but they were swamped so it was understandable. I had a reservation and two managers were quick to open up a table for us; they were incredibly accommodating, I forget their names but both well groomed guys no older than 30. Olenka was our server and she was an absolute delight. She was super sweet, friendly, and genuinely interested in making a positive impact on our experience. We ate the sliders, mac and cheese balls and truffle fries; sliders and fries were the better choices.\n\nThe second time it was a rainy night, so the entire outdoor portion was closed. A big section inside was reserved for a private party, so the space available was limited. Nonetheless I spent time at the bar and at a table. This time the bar service was attentive and accommodating, whereas the dining service was more forgettable. This time I ate sliders (awesome again), truffle fries (awesome again), and the PHD Catch (I forget the name but it's a medley of fried seafood, also really tasty).\n\nPHD Terrace is a fun spot during the summer. If you catch it on a good night where it's not super hot or super crowded, you'll really enjoy it. Drinks aren't cheap but they're different than most drinks you're privy to in NYC. Food is solid upscale bar food and reasonably priced.”

“Take the time to find one of the nicest rooftop bars in the city. The elevator is tucked in the end of a hallway behind the bell stand so don’t try to get there via the hotel elevators. The drinks are expensive but are well made and the view and ambiance is well worth the price. They have some inflated igloos up there right now that make it almost feel like an ice note in Sweden. Light menu, great people watching, nice cocktails and perfect 5th Avenue views. You gotta go!”

“We can here for a birthday with the intention of having a quick drink before our dinner reservations. We ended up missing the reservations because of how cool the spot was. It’s literally on the rooftop of the Conrad Hotel...making it easy to miss if you don’t know it’s there/hard to find even if you do! You’ll enter the hotel and take an elevator up. (No need to be a guest at the hotel!)The bar is lively! A well kept secret but certainly known by plenty of young, area locals. We were told we had to try the specialty which is a glass of wine that comes with a fruit ice pop in it (check the pictures others have posted and you’ll see what I mean.) I recommend going off the beaten path and taking a trip here if you have time. With a beautiful, and nice weather, you can’t beat it.”

“I've been visiting the Press Lounge for years. Phenomenal views, amazing cocktails, and considerate staff make this upscale rooftop lounge a New York City gym. They are very versatile as an outdoor/indoor venue and always have sparkly clean facilities (even when they are packed). Moreover, they've taken great care to ensure safety measures during Covid. There usually isn't a cover charge but they've added a reservation requirement and $40 per person minimum as capacity is limited due to the pandemic. Either way, I can't wait to visit again!”

“Always great times when I visit this restaurant with friends and family. Food is great and can be quiet depending on the time of day. Saddened to find out my fiancé's and my favorite dessert the Tennessee Whiskey cake isn't being served anymore (we would share it along with the brownie). Ah well! Hope it makes a comeback one day.”

“Are you a gin aficionado? This place has almost every major gin in the world. Ask to see their in-house gin "manual" to read up on their gins and each of those gins' flavour profile. My only complaint, and this is more aesthetic, is that it is a hotel bar and it shows. Other than that, the staff are friendly and happy to pair a great gin with a cocktail of your choice.”

“Always a pretty good time when we visit this Applebees. Whether we chose to sit at a table or go to the bar the service is quick and the food is good. The bathrooms are clean!! Which is great for this Applebees being in Times Square. Will be returning soon.”

“I'm super impressed with this hotel. We came for a cruise out of Long Beach and needed to stay the night but were looking for somewhere to park too outside of port. My friend came down in December for a cruise and stayed here and parked with the "snooze and cruise" package. Great name by the way! The front desk staff was kind, welcoming, and super helpful. Our room is clean, modern, and comfortable. My kids love the room and I can't wait to shower in the large walk in shower! Overall amazing rooms, courteous, helpful staff, and convenient parking for our cruise! Oh, and they shuttle you free to the port! Highly recommend!”

“A very modern Dear Irving Gramercy with interesting drinks and great atmosphere. Both the drinks I tried (wish I could remember their names - should tell you something about my night) were super creative and well-made. And this is the first time I've seen a basket of eggs at a bar, so that was totally weird. Will definitely be back.”
