“Awesome American cuisine! I've always loved this place; however the hostess this last visit was pretty bad. Food is good, especially the spinach dip and honey butter croissants! This location isn't my favorite, but my favorite one closed, so it'll do!”

“Spectacular as always. They have multiple flavors and some limited time flavors. Also have multiple options such as salads and some killer crepes (Ricky Bobby : Wait, are they the really thin pancakes??). Stop and check it out, this place is great and the people are easy to get along with.”

“The cooks were doing a great job! However, in the wake of this pandemic, they fix your plate for you, as you tell them what you want... which would be fine with me, if they gave you more than just 2 pieces of shrimp at a time, and if I hadn't been ignored and skipped... so... with that being said, food was delicious, but serving you in line, needs to be a lot better! They need a friendly server for starters. This woman was a barrel of personality! NOT!! And she did not want to listen when I asked for more than just 2 pieces of shrimp! It literally took my asking 5, yes I said 5, times to get what I wanted! And she heard me, but flat out was trying to go ahead with the next person in line! The cooks deserve their props! But the person they had filling plates, definitely needed trained better, and taught to be more friendly! Hate having to give anyone a bad review, but I calls it like I sees it!”

“The Woman who owns this place is amazing! Great memory and happy, helpful person. I have made several purchases here and my son has too. Every one has been great. My 1st taste 3 years ago was probably my most favorite birthday cake ever. The following year here bought me cupcakes. Last year, my birthday cake from here travelled to Walt Disney World, held up great and was delicious in my room @Coronado Springs. I bought his birthday cake here, she remembered him and placed a note to him on itThat's a great businesswoman. Last weekend I bought cupcakes for a friend's birthday. I only wish that I had a place like this by me. 150 miles is a bit of a drive but worth it every time I am in the area. Very happy to know that Bake My Day is staying at current location.”

“For me, the Highlights of my experience at Hudson and Essex, came from the bar.I feel that we lucked out with getting a seat at the bar, and having a bartender that was truly exceptional.I believe his name was Shawn.His demeanor, attitude, knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail made the experience a real highlight. Watching him create our amazing cocktails (I think more people should get up close and see the work) from our seats at the bar, was a real pleasure. I know our experience would not have been the same without him, and I hope he's still there when we return.”

“First visit was a fun experience. Enjoyed Philly Steak and Texas Cheeseburger. Homemade fries, n chips all delicious. Prices are great. Large food selection. Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere.”

“So we were staying at a hotel close and decided to take all the kids here. We've always had a great experience where we live. So we had to pull ahead and wait for our food which I don't mind since its going to be fresh and I asked her to make sure there's ketchup. We waited longer than what the lady said, we understood why when she carried out four orders at once for other cars. Every kid in my car complained about the sandwiches were smashed flat, fries not hot (we received three instead of five) and my onion rings were just a half pile of soggy mess and nothing hot. The kids put their mask on and went in came back out and said the lady said two minutes.......then after seeing the lady come out a few times and fifteen or so minutes later. I sent one of the kids in again, the lady gave him the bag, nothing even hot once again just warm because it probably sat there again. I've never had such a bad experience with a Steak n Shake ever this was just crazy”
