“I recommend the Thai fried rice with chicken but the Tonkotsu Ramen with pork was just okay. Not too flavorful.”

“Restaurant calls itself "Modern Asian" but in reality that just means "contemporary standard western"Ordered a banana leaf wrapped sea bass that tasted quite mild and bland. The fish also had quite a few bones in it. I also tried the Szcheuan Trio dish and it came in a very well decorated plate. However the food tasted like something you made a home by putting together frozen chicken and veggies mixed with a bit of teriyaki sauce. Service was also a bit slow despite the fact that there were not many customers at the time . Overall, normal bland and bit over priced food presented in nicely decorated plates.”

“We've been dying to try this place for a while. Totally worth it. A great combination of Bazaar(Mongolian barbecue type), hot pots, and exotic meats. Friendly service; FERNANDO THE WAITER and JESSE the expert bartender, and a hip atmosphere. Everything was of the best quality and will definitely be back...with friends!!”

“It was my first-time trying the place and had a person with an intellectual disability with me--so the person needed a little help ordering and knowing what is on the menu. It would have been nice to have had a little help and some patience from the server; because i could feel he just wanted to get the order in asap. What i tried was good, but got disappointed that my salmon was the same kind they sell in the supermarket inside a bag and frozen. However, if you want a good quality meal, then just cook at home. That's what i learned for myself.”

“I had a nice night with friends here. We got there at a good time before it started to get really crowded about 8:30PM. The staff was helpful, kept our glasses full even when it got extremely busy.”

“Hipster porridge. Apparently very popular. Way too greasy vs amount of porridge. If they triple the porridge to topping ratio it would be more proportional. Very creative blend of ingredients.”

“Choice of 80-20 or 100% buckwheat soba, housemade everyday from scratch, from milling the flour. Many of us in the US have never ever enjoyed such a thing.”

“Best happy hour value in DTLA, and incredible lunch and dinner as well. I was lucky enough to stumble upon Kues on the second night of their soft open, and met the owner Marcus. He is a wonderful host and this has become the go-to spot(at least twice weekly) for our group of business travelers. The food is exceptional and the house cocktails are addictive.”

“Delicious Korean style shave ice (bingsoo). Tried the green tea and the Injeolmi (roasted bean powder) versions. They were both creamy and delicious with a good amount of red bean, extra condensed milk to pour on top, but it was a little stingy on the mochi. Had outside seating and hand sanitizer readily available. Only complaint is that it seemed a tad expensive ($24+ for 2 orders).”

“Great food. Great service. Nice atmosphere. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star review and not a 5, is because they force you to tip if you're paying by credit card. They don't give an option. I always tip in cash because it's easier for the server. However this restaurant does not offer that option. I won't be back. For this reason alone.”

“Stopped by en joy poke & bowl on the way to Trader Joe's since I love poke and I hadn't eaten lunch. The prices are comparable to Poke Bar (current go-to), but just -slightly- pricier ($9.99 for a small vs $9.50).”

“Sad to say that the drinks were not good at all. I got a boba milk tea and it has a weird sour taste to it. I asked to change it to a Thai tea with boba, which wasn't good either, I'm pretty sure they forgot to put sugar in it cause it wasn't sweet at all. The boba was just ok, it was mushy but had no flavor at all.”
