Baxter brewing is a top class pub in a refurbished mill. Great IPAs, lot of TV monitors.

Love this place! Great atmosphere and great beer. They really made the entire experience of being in an old mill comfortable and inviting. From the walk away, all the way through. Don't forget they have a tasting room too. Plus, you can tour the brewery!

Beautiful building and a snapshot in time restored. You can see the canal offchute on the way in. The staff where great and the food was good. Beer selection was good. Great atmosphere!

The Pub has quickly become a staple of Lewiston, and a great spot for any occasion. While a bit noisy at times (as pubs can be) it has a great selection of locally brewed beer (all brewed onsite), variety of mixed drinks, and pub-style food.Some food items are expensive, ie $15 for a dozen wings, but they're so good it's hard to pass up. The beer is extremely reasonably priced considering the quality.Finally, the space itself is beautiful. It pays homage to the history of Lewiston by maintaining a mill space, but feels fresh with the right amount of shine. 6+ months later, they really have outdone themselves.

Very disappointing. Our group waited over an hour for mediocre fare. My wife's Caesar Salad was made with ranch dressing and you could tell it had been made ahead of time as the croutons were soggy. I ordered the Philly-Cheese steak which was listed as having "golden cheese sauce". Instead, it had melted mozzarella. Very small also and the meat was stake-um quality. They were also out of several items. Service was slow and not attentive. Beer was good. Prices were fair but it was definitely not worth the wait and I won't be rushing back.

Neat place to grab a drink. Food is pretty standard bar fare but they have a wide range of drinks and, of course, have all your Baxter favorites. The name is slightly misleading, but it is a pretty good American style bar. A few fun games and plenty of seating. Good bar atmoshpere.

We loved it, even with the limited menu for food. I had the BBQ and my wife had the bacon grilled cheese. The food was okay, but the beer was amazing. We shared a sampler of five beers. All five were great. My favorite was the Phantom Punch.

Everything about the pub was first rate. The minute you walked into the refurbished mill, the atmosphere was striking. The spaced tables lent to intimate conversation and the gorgeous bar afforded congeniality. The beer, in selection and taste, was excellent and the food, although limited in choice, was top notch. The waitstaff were attentive and knowledgeable and provided prompt service. We've been twice since discovering it and the pub has quickly become our go to place when we visit Lewiston and Auburn.
